Here's
some good eatin'! What kid doesn't go wild over the taste of artichoke
bottoms, mushroom bottoms, zucchini spears, or calamari? Fact is, there's
a wide assortment of root vegetables available all over the park. Of
course, if you want to eat (yecch) meat, you might find a corn dog, and there's
a secret hamburger stand in one corner of the park. This kid sure didn't
know what he was missing!
Move
along, there's nothing to see here.
This
is a food court at the far end of the park. Here, despite the noontime
rush, we got a decent Chicken Dinner with mashed potatoes, gravy, cornbread, and
cole slaw. Then we rode the Quicksilver coaster five times in a row.
Now on your ordinary theme park coaster, say Top Gun at Great America, you would
boot, right? Not so at Bonfante Gardens. The coasters are so laid
back that you could eat a tub of lard in queue and you would not be any worse
after coming out of the corkscrew. Maybe this is a selling point for the
park; we're not sure.
